David Lawford, commonly known as Dave, brings over 30 years of extensive project management experience, having successfully contributed to numerous large-scale multinational projects with FTSE 100 businesses in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods industry. With a notable track record as an investor in various property projects over recent years, Dave possesses a discerning eye for advantageous deals and developing a profitable portfolio within this sector.
Simon Lawford
Director
Simon Lawford is a budding property developer with experience on refurbs and new build development projects. Simon also loves to get out on his bike and chuck on his running shoes and explore the Peak District whenever life doesn’t get in the way. Simon graduated from Loughborough University with a first-class degree in Information Technology and Business Management in 2019 which led him to start off his career in the financial services sector alongside his property business!
Annalise Marsden
Interior Design Lead
Annalise ‘Annie’ Marsden is our all things design and interiors who takes our blank canvases and turns them into the luxurious home from homes that you see across our portfolio. Annie graduated with a first-class degree from the University of Derby where she studied psychology. Annie then went on to start her own business in the retail industry building a strong brand presence and customer base. Annie loves all things clothing and fashion and brings this flare and eye for detail into the design of every aspect of our properties.
The Story of Silverleaf Stays
In early 2023, Silverleaf Stays was established by Simon and Dave Lawford. Simon Lawford, an alumnus of Loughborough University, embarked on a career in the financial services sector. His profession led him to various cities across the UK and Europe, where he frequently stayed in various forms of serviced accommodation. These experiences provided valuable insights into what makes for an excellent stay.
Silverleaf Stays came about because both Simon and Dave agreed that there is a gap in the market for high-quality serviced accommodation at an affordable price, particularly for corporate workers and leisure travellers in Buckinghamshire and surrounding areas. Although there are a handful of good quality accommodation providers, most providers were unreasonably priced for those looking for a comfortable stay, whether they were workers or leisure guests on a week-long getaway with family or friends.
Drawing from our experiences staying in various accommodations across the country, including cities such as London, Sheffield, Manchester, we recognised that high-quality accommodations could be offered successfully and in line with affordable prices for their given location. With these areas cities showcasing budget-friendly, top-tier homes and apartments available for long and short-term rentals, we were motivated to enter the market and seek innovative ways to provide quality accommodation at an exceptional value in and around Buckinghamshire.
